Step-By-Step Guide to Compress a Video on Android
Today, when the word “Smartphone” comes to our mind, we do not simply only think about a communication device, but a device that comes with many other useful functions as well. Phone cameras especially have come a long way today and are one of the main factors for users to consider when buying a new device.

Using Panda Resizer app
Step 1: First, go ahead, download and install the “Panda Resizer” app from Google Play Store. Once installed, double-tap to open it.
Step 2: It will give you a quick tour of the main features of the app. Tap the “Next” button at the bottom right of the screen a few times to complete the tour, or alternatively, tap on the “Skip” button towards the lower left of the screen to skip the tour.
Step 3: At the end of the tour, the app will ask you to upgrade to the premium version. Click on the “Continue with ads” button in the upper left of the screen to keep using the free version.
Step 4: The app will ask for your permission to local data access. Tap on the “Allow” button to proceed.
Step 5: The app will display all the video files on your local phone memory in a browser.
Step 6: Browse and locate the video you want to compress by using the tabs at the top of the screen and then select the required video by tapping on it.
Step 7: Tap on the “Next” button towards the bottom right of the screen.
Step 7: The app will give you different compression options regarding the size of the compressed file and its video quality. You can also use the compression options for emailing or uploading to social networking websites. Scroll down, to see different video resolution options.
Step 8: After choosing a compression option that best fits your need, tap on the “COMPRESS” button towards the lower right of the screen to kick-start the compression process.
Step 9: That’s it, now the app will start compressing the required video, and when the process is complete you will see the new compressed file, its resolution, and the file’s size in comparison to the regional one.
Step 10: If you are happy with the end result, then you can save the new file to the local phone memory by tapping on the “SAVE” button to the right-left of the screen. You can also tap on the “SHARE” button to share the compressed video with your contacts using social media or messengers.
