Google Home Mini and Google Home Max Launched by Google
Google introduced their gen-next Google Home devices today – the Google Home Mini and the Google Home Max. These are Google’s new Google Home devices which cater to two diverse types of audiences. Let us take a closer look at the features and price of these devices.
Google Home Mini
The Google Home Mini is basically a smaller version of the regular sized Google home which was introduced last year. It comes out into the markets in three color variants – chalk, charcoal and coral. The Google Home Mini offers pretty much all the features that the Google Home does but owing to its small size, the audio is a little slower.
The device can be tapped to control music playback, talk to the assistant, and perform a number of other functions. The fabric surrounding it has been created by Google from the scratch making it lightweight and strong. The Google Home Mini comes out at a price of $49 and will be available starting the 19th of October. Those who pre-order Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will get it for free.
Google Home Max
in addition to the Google Home Mini, Google also launched the Google Home Max speaker – which is basically a massive Google Home. While Google Home Mini could fit in your pocket, the Google Home Max would occupy a much larger space. It has been built keeping in mind the needs of those who need to play louder music.
The Google Home Max features a bigger body and comes with a $399 price tag. It will go on sale starting December and would come with a year’s YouTube Red Subscription free of cost. The Google Home Max, despite all the loud music would still be able to identify your voice and would be able to take commands via the Google Assistant! Google is indeed taking Machine Learning to the next level.
