What Is the Questions and Answers Section on Google Maps?
The Questions and Answers section has been made keeping in mind that users often tend to Google for questions regarding places on Google Search. However, there are some answers which can actually be better answered by the community of users. This would also open doors for organizations to communicate with prospective customers and/or visitors better.
In order to access this Questions and Answers section on the Google Maps, users need to open the business listing of the place they want to ask questions or give answers about. Users will be able to upvote answers that they feel are helpful. The most upvoted answer will appear on the top. (No downvote button though). In addition to this, the business owners would be able to add their own set of Frequently Asked Questions. Every time a user posts a question about a business, the business owners will be notified. Google will also alert other Google Maps users who frequent the place.
The introduction of Questions and Answers Section on Google Maps is a good feature as it empowers the users to interact with the businesses in a better, more meaningful way. Do let us know in the comments below if you find it to be a useful update.
