Google Wallpapers App Updated: New Categories Introduced
Google has been among the biggest names when it comes to the world of smartphone technology. The search giant has its arms around various sectors of the markets and the Pixel smartphones are one of their most proud creations. Google’s latest update comes to the Google Wallpapers app for the Pixel users.
The company is massively successful around the globe because of their attention for detail – this sets them apart from many other tech firms. Even at a time where they have hundreds of other major things going around, Google had the time to update the Google Wallpapers app.
This new update to Google Wallpapers introduces three new categories of wallpapers –
- Geometric Shapes
- Keep Looking
- Underwater
These three sections are updated only for the users of the Google Pixel smartphones. However, for all the other users, the ‘Geometric Shapes’ section has been introduced while the others remain exclusive.
There are 23 new wallpapers which have been introduced in the Geometric Shapes section. The Keep Looking category of wallpapers brings nine new wallpapers but the most number of new wallpapers are a part of the Google Wallpapers app’s Underwater collection, where 32 new wallpapers have been introduced.
In addition to these new categories, the Pixel 2 default wallpaper too, has been introduced in the Google Wallpapers app. The update has begun rolling out now and will soon reach all the users.
As of now, none of the live wallpapers from the Pixel 2 have made it to the app – not even for the Pixel users. It looks like they’ll be out once the Google Pixel 2 XL hits the markets. The update to the Google Wallpapers app seems to be live in some regions while other regions would be getting it over the next couple of days. This is indeed an interesting update from Google! Update your app today.
