I like option 1 with a change, when I load the file to Google Drive right click on it in the g drive, select share, then get link and select anyone on the internet with this link can view. Then email the copied link

Sending exe files by email has the usual size limitation. Gmail would not send files larger than 25MB. Any other solution?

You got to wonder, with the fuking geniuses at gmail protecting us from ourselves, how did so many WannaCry go through.

Yep, changing the extension no longer works. Having to resort to burning CDs and sending them by post as I do not want to use googledrive (or anything to do with google). Surely google don’t need to protect all its users from themselves – why don’t they give users the option to receive such files (turned off by default)? Not all their users are morons, I imagine.

Use the certutil console command to convert to hex, then rename the file as .txt

man you are good. certutil -encode at the your end the -decode parameter at the receivers end.
