Sankaranand points out in his blog about Orkut’s Face tagging feature recognizing Lord Shiva Statue. Possibly, Google is employing same technology as in Picasa to detect and tag faces.
The above picture shows some friends posing infront of Lord Shiva statue. Orkut has unbelievably detected statue’s face and asking the user to name it. Orkut is Google’s Social networking site, particularly famous in India and Brazil.
