Google Is Giving Away Free Donuts! Here’s How To Get Them

Google knows the best sales tactic – sell stuff by being sweet. What better way of being ‘sweet’ than by offering free donuts! Google has it all figured out. Everyone loves free stuff, everyone loves donuts – put two and two together – and there’s your perfect sales strategy. Google is promoting the Google Home Mini with pop-up stores called ‘Google Home Mini Donut Shop’. These shops will be set up in various cities across the US.
To claim your free donuts, all you need to do is simply walk into any of these pop-up stores set up by Google, ask the Google Home Mini a question and collect a free donut box.
This gives a two-fold advantage to Google – the company will be able to sell more Google Home Mini devices primarily owing to it’s low price, but a secondary reason is that these free donuts would be a certain crowd-puller. Moreover, the second major reason as to what Google will gain out of this is – that a much larger number of users will interact with the device, helping it gather data which will help it improve in the long run.
On another interesting note – it’s not just about free donuts. There are some boxes which contain an actual Google Home Mini! You might get lucky and end up getting one for yourself for free. These pop-up shops also have a ‘Sprinkle Booth’ where you can hang out in confetti shower.
The Google Home Mini, which competes with the Amazon Echo Dot and Echo Tap is being promoted with the tagline – Size of a donut. Power of a superhero.
