Google’s New Year Countdown for 2010
2010 is coming and probably Google is planning something special. Last year, Google taught few tips and tricks from “Google’s Countdown to 2009”. This year, Google has made a hidden countdown for 2010. To see this easter egg, you need to visit Google.com and without entering and words in search box, you need to press “I’m Feeling Lucky” button.
After hitting “I’m Feeling Lucky” button, you’ll see a timer at top of the page, telling you how many seconds are left for the New Year. Its working for me on IE7 and FF. Let’s see, what Google has in store for its user coming year?
What a relief , I pushed the “I’m feeling lucky” Google button without entering any text and got that countdown… I thought briefly maybe it had estimated how long I had left to live!
hehehehe, I changed my system’s data time to 31-Dec-2009 11:59 PM..and the counter got reduced to 60…must be some java script reading ur system’s datetime settings.
wow… I stumbled upon that by accident… I thought it was a countdown before my browser would close… hahaha… lucky for me though that would be a very long time… hahaha
yo cris, what the heck were you thinking when you thought it was the number of seconds you had left to live. sheesh!
cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool is there one for 2011!?
