Think Quarterly – Google’s Online Business Magazine

Google, the search engine giant has silently introduced an online quarterly magazine named ‘Think Quarterly’. The magazine is aimed for UK partners and advertisers and is dedicated for business data, ads and speed. The 1st edition of this online magazine is available in both EPUB and PDF formats.

According to Matt Brittin, Managing Director, UK & Ireland Operations, Google :

At Google, we often think that speed is the forgotten ‘killer application’ – the ingredient that can differentiate winners from the rest. We know that the faster we deliver results, the more useful people find our service.
But in a world of accelerating change, we all need time to reflect. Think Quarterly is a breathing space in a busy world. It’s a place to take time out and consider what’s happening and why it matters.
Our first issue is dedicated to Data – amongst a morass of information, how can you find the magic metrics that will help transform your business? We hope that you find inspiration, insights, and more, in Think Quarterly.

The articles are about in-depth understanding and research in business and technology. The authors are industry’s top notch executives and editors. I doubt the usability for common business class and it is definitely not meant for normal users. However the magazine is beautifully designed with great artwork and splendid representation and is worth a look.

Mashable speculates that it might be a sign of Google entering into media business or it could be just for its intellectual thirst. Google describes it as “unique communication tool” and “breathing space in busy world” which is too less to understand the purpose.
