We are experiencing surge of updates from Google on Twitter. Some time back, Google used to share its updates on only its platforms like blogspot, wave and Google+. Most of the people too prefeered to read complete articles than than 140 character. But Google cannot neglect the instantaneous nature of Twitter, and thus now Twitter has more Google accounts than any other channel.
I would recommend blog feeds because twitter RSS will mostly contain duplications.
