What does it take to get a job at Google? [Infographic]

Jobvine has come up with an interesting infograghic portraying the Google hiring process. Though the data is not comprehensive, it gives a superficial picture of the process. Some interesting facts from this infographic are :

#. Google receives over 1 million resumes per year.

#. Of those, they hire between 0.4 – 0.6% e.i. 4000-6000 professionals.

#. Google used to have up to 29 interviews before offering a position.

#. Google’s hiring process –

Step 1 – Resume screening

Step 2 – Phone call screening

Step 3 – On site interview

Step 4 – Interviewer feedback and opinions from current employees

Step 5 – Hiring Committee checks feedback and resume

Step 6 – Executive review by senior management level

Step 7 – Compensation Committee negotiates salary

Step 8 – Final executive review

Step 9 – Lastly, the offer is given
