Solar Eclipse Doodle for July 22, 2009

Soon after the Google logo for 40th anniversary of Apollo landing on moon, Google has come up with new doodle for the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century, lasting as much as 6 minutes and 39 seconds in some places.

This Doodle was visible at Google India and China.

This eclipse is part of the series of eclipses named Saros 136 . This series began on 14 June 1360 and will end on 30 July 2622 and have 71 total eclipses. Today was the 37th one. [Wiki Page]
